Greetings and best wishes to all comrades of the National Youth Association Nepal, Gandaki Province Committee, and all its subordinate committees!
The National Youth Association Nepal is one of Nepal’s leading youth organizations, continuously committed to the hopes, aspirations, rights, and prosperous future of Nepali youth. Embracing the historical, political, social, cultural, and tourism significance of Gandaki Province, the responsibility of making our organization stronger, more dynamic, technology-friendly, and people-oriented now rests upon our shoulders.
Today, the world is changing at an unprecedented pace. Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital technology, automation, robotics, big data, social media, and the emerging digital economy are transforming politics, education, entrepreneurship, employment, production, and society itself. In this era of rapid transformation, a youth organization cannot remain confined to conventional thinking and outdated working methods. We must embrace innovation in our ideas, technology in our organization, and vision in our leadership.
Our Priorities in the Changing AI Era
1. AI and Digital Literacy
* Connect every young person with basic knowledge and skills in AI and digital technology.
* Launch Digital Literacy and AI Literacy campaigns within the organization.
2. Building a Digital Organization
* Expand the organization’s digital network down to the ward level.
* Integrate membership, records, training, information dissemination, and campaigns into digital systems.
* Use social media not merely as a tool for publicity, but as a medium for direct engagement and dialogue with the people.
3. New Leadership for a New Generation
* It is not enough simply to involve young people in programs; they must be meaningfully included at the center of policymaking and leadership.
* Develop capable young leaders in emerging fields such as AI, science, technology, economics, entrepreneurship, environment, and international relations.
* Provide leadership opportunities to talented young people from all communities and sectors, including women.
4. Education, Skills, and Employment
* Alongside traditional academic degrees, place greater emphasis on skills, technology, and innovation.
* Encourage young people not only to seek employment but also to become entrepreneurs who create employment.
* Connect Nepali youth with opportunities in freelancing, remote work, digital entrepreneurship, and the global digital market.
5. From Brain Drain to Brain Circulation
* Rather than viewing foreign migration solely as a problem, connect the Nepali youth community spread across the world with Nepal’s development.
* Launch initiatives to bring the knowledge, capital, technology, and international networks of Nepali youth abroad into Nepal.
6. Production and Entrepreneurship
* Connect political activism with production and entrepreneurship.
* Increase youth participation in agriculture, tourism, IT, energy, digital services, startups, and creative industries.
* Advance the campaign: “From Youth Mobilization to Production, From Production to Self-Reliance.”
7. Ideological Clarity in the AI Era
* Changing technology must not weaken our fundamental purpose and people-oriented vision.
* AI and digital technology must be used for human welfare, social justice, equal opportunity, and nation-building.
* We need policies that ensure equal access to technology for young people rather than allowing technology to remain under the control of a limited few.
8. Digital Ethics and Cybersecurity
* Raise awareness among young people against fake news, deepfakes, misinformation, cyber fraud, and the misuse of digital technology.
* Develop a culture of responsible and respectful use of social media.
* Launch campaigns to uphold facts, reason, and truth in the digital sphere.
9. Data and Evidence in Policymaking
* Build a youth movement based not only on emotion, but also on data, research, and evidence-based policy.
* Develop regular surveys, research, and digital feedback systems to identify and address the problems faced by young people.
10. Digital Youth Awakening from Gandaki
* Gandaki should not be known only as a tourism hub; the National Youth Association must take leadership in making it a center for innovation, technology, startups, and digital entrepreneurship.
* Connect young people from Pokhara and all districts of Gandaki Province with national and international digital opportunities.
* Launch special initiatives to bring digital opportunities to young people in the Himalayas, hills, and rural areas.
Our Political and Organizational Commitment
Today, our glorious party, the Communist Party of Nepal (UML), and the broader Nepali communist movement stand at an important turning point. While safeguarding the achievements gained through the long struggles of the people and moving toward the goal of socialism, ideological clarity, organizational unity, a living relationship with the people, good governance, production, technology, and the meaningful participation of the younger generation are indispensable.
The role of the National Youth Association Nepal must not be limited merely to mobilizing young people. It must move forward as a force that develops the ideological leadership of a new generation, builds a technology-friendly organization, connects youth with production and entrepreneurship, and establishes youth leadership at the forefront of nation-building.
We must establish young people not merely as participants in political programs, but as policymakers, entrepreneurs, scientists, technicians, innovators, social activists, and decisive forces in nation-building.
The growing political disillusionment among young people, unemployment, foreign migration, and lack of opportunities must not be addressed through speeches alone. They must be addressed through concrete policies and opportunities in skills, employment, entrepreneurship, and technology.
Comrades,
To strengthen the communist movement, the youth organization must be strong.
To strengthen the youth organization, we must win the trust of young people.
To win their trust, we must lead their future.
And to lead the future, we must begin today by taking leadership in AI, technology, knowledge, and innovation.
We are not a generation that fears challenges—we are a youth force that transforms challenges into opportunities.
We are not a generation that spreads despair—we are the generation that leads hope, possibility, and change.
We do not merely speak of transformation—we are the force that puts transformation into practice.
May the voice of youth awakening rising from Gandaki spread throughout the nation through a Digital Nepal.
May the National Youth Association Nepal emerge as an even stronger, more disciplined, dynamic, technology-friendly, and people-oriented organization.
May the new generation establish a leading role in Nepal’s communist movement.
May the campaign to build a prosperous Nepal through the combination of youth power, technology, and production grow even stronger.

Disciplined in organization, capable in technology!

Heartfelt best wishes to all comrades of the National Youth Association Nepal, Gandaki Province, for the success of the campaign to strengthen the organization, mobilize young people, develop new technology-friendly leadership, and further strengthen the Nepali communist movement.
